Straddling the heart of the Pacific, New Zealand unfolds its majesty across two distinct realms: the North and South Islands. Our journey back to this land of enchantment wasn't our first. We had previously ventured as a family unit, a band of explorers with three young adventurers in tow, navigating the North and parts of the South Island in a trusty RV van. That expedition was an odyssey of its own, a dance with chaos and harmony, during a chapter of our lives when such adventures were not just possible but necessary.

Armed with three weeks and a thirst for the unexplored, we embarked on a road trip to conquer the corners of New Zealand that had eluded us since 2009, this time leaving the patter of little feet behind.
