A Changed World
When the reset button was activated in March 2020, it signalled the end of the type of travel that we were used to. Reflecting over the last few months, I thought it would make a useful starting blog.
Here is my list of assumptions; I think that its a given that covid-19 and it's like will be with us for the foreseeable future and that an effective anti-virus will be available in the future. There will be huge changes to the economy, meaning spare money will largely be set aside for family commitments. Any medical support, particularly overseas, will be limited for the foreseeable future. Finally, the lockdown has provided me with a fine belly that needs to be changed!
Adapting to a New Environment
Using my list of assumptions and time spent in the doldrums of lockdown and tier restrictions has allowed time to reflect. We have already started to make preparations and plan for future travel adventures within the UK. We are looking forward to exploring our backyard! With limited finances that means travel by car and camping! Looking through my favourite planning guide Pinterest we are already starting to explore the UK online and coming up with some great results. Let the adventures begin! (more to follow).
